Sophia Ann Schneider made her entrance into this world on May 9th at 2:20 in the afternoon. Yes, you read that right... May 9th. And I was not due until May 21st. I guess that makes up for Bennett being almost 2 weeks late. We are so in love with this little girl. She is just perfect!
We came home on Friday afternoon and are adjusting to being a family of four. So far, so good. It takes a little bit longer to get things done and a little more patience, but up to this point Travis and I have been able to tag team and one goes with one child and one with the other. We are working hard to make sure that Bennett is getting time with both of us and feeling included in everything that we are doing with Sophia. We also had our friends... his friend Zander over tonight to play. He really has had no time to think about bringing Sophia home and honestly not much has changed. We are still going about our normal routine, just added one more little one to it! Now, I know that we are only two days in, so life won't always be so hunky dory, but for now things are great. And going into mother's day, I could not feel more blessed. As Travis and I were talking at the hospital after Sophia made her speedy arrival, we were just pinching ourselves. One of our friends wrote on Facebook to our picture... The perfect family. And really, we are not perfect, but we sure feel lucky. To have two healthy babies, a boy and a girl. Beautiful! It doesn't get much better then this!
