Today was the annual HG 4th of July picnic! What a great time we had. The kids did the parade around the big park, followed by a star hunt and a kiddie carnival. Then it was a big dinner on the grill and games for the older kids and adults. The night was rounded out with some great fireworks. The highlight of the day was a flyover by a pair of F-16's. Everyone thought it was planned... but it wasn't. What a nice surprise -- and so fitting for today.
