So happy that we spent a great weekend together before you head to Kuwait!

Three Bears Weekend

We headed to Warrens, WI for the weekend to visit with Bret before he heads over to Kuwait for a year deployment. Warrens was a great send off for Bret and the whole family enjoyed it... especially Bennett!! Waterparks are his favorite!

Chicago

Travis was in Chicago for a training for his CPE credits and had a voucher from last years flight, so I decided to join him for a long weekend in the Windy City. We had a great time and made good use of our childless days, though we were both itching to get home on Sunday to see the little guy!

On our approach into MSP the sky was clear, the sun was out and we flew straight over our house, circled the entire metro and made our landing at the airport. I of course did not have the camera ready in time, but was able to get it out to get some cool pictures of places we know it the city!

While we were in Destin, Travis and Troy took a deep sea fishing excursion. They had a great time, after Troy was hanging over the boat :) Caught a few fish and enjoyed them for dinner... Travis and Troy that is! Good thing they weren't responsible for feeding the rest of us!

Summer Lovin'

So, last year I took all of the time and things that happened over the summer and used those pictures and stories to blog almost everyday. I guess this summer we are just TOO busy to sit down at the computer and blog. What that does mean is that we are full of great pictures, stories and memories! We have spent the past 8 days in Atlanta - at the beach, pool, spending time with family and relaxing. Tons of pictures to show, but those will come later.

The newest picture is of our family during Bennett's 3 year shoot with Tamika! Amazing as always. I love the way that she captures Bennett in his element and even when you think that he has gone the whole session without a smile somehow she has gotten every picture with a smile - one bigger then the next. More photos to follow in the coming days.

Off to spend our last night in Atlanta before we head home to the real world. Bennett is going to be sad leaving behind his cousins, but we will be returning soon!
