All dressed up!

Our friends, Famous and Bill hosted a halloween party this weekend for the kids! It was a ton of fun and Bennett loved every minute! They did a wagon ride, frosted cookies, painted pumpkins, had a dance party and Bennett started an impromptu wrestling match!

Trick or Treating Round 1

Nana and Papa took B downtown Hudson to go trick or treating at the businesses on Thursday night. He had a Scooby Doo costume so he could keep warm! His other outfit is the golfer, which is not the most toasty outfit, but OH SO CUTE!!

At the River

Bennett's favorite spot in the world right now is to be at the river! He loves to watch all the action with the boats, waves, people... everything that happens down at the river! He even saw a guy fall out of his boat into the water. He is still talking about it. Here he and Nana are watching all the river happenings!

Hoopla

The Y hosted the annual Halloween Hoopla this past weekend and we decided to check it out. Bennett enjoyed the games and mats. Unfortunately, the haunted house was a super long line and we were about an hour and a half early for the trick or treating. Hopefully we will have better luck next year.

The small stuff

What is it they say... Don't sweat the small stuff! Well here Bennett sure is enjoying the small stuff! Well, I think that these pictures epitomize the small stuff! Who knew such excitement could come from successfully taking his mommy's socks off.

Zoo Boo

Bennett went with Nana and Papa to the Zoo Boo at Como Zoo. He had a lot of fun and wore an impromptu costume (which fit in so well at the zoo)!

Cutting Wood

Today Bennett and I went to the Camp St. Croix and split wood with Rotaract. Well, actually I split wood and Bennett sat in the car and watched videos... you can't quite see him in the car, but you can notice the window is down in the back seat. He had the best of both worlds - watching his video and all of the action that was happening!

Jump Around

Today Bennett and I went to the Just Jump in Woodbury. He was not sure about the jumpers at first. But he quickly warmed up to the idea once he noticed that they had a baseball one! Great place for winter activities and to burn off some energy!

Costume Party

Karissa and Zander hosted some friends last weekend for a harvest party. The little ones wore costumes, carved pumpkins, played games and created crafts!

Up in flames

A couple of weeks ago we tried to have a fire and it was a big bust. This weekend was the exact opposite. You would think by looking at the fire, Travis was a boy scout! Bennett loved helping to put the wood on the fire and we enjoyed some good old smores around the fire. And Travis had a little visitor before B and I made it out to the fire pit. We will just say the visitor was black and white and does not smell pretty! Luckily, no one got sprayed!

Bedtime

So bedtime is hard these days. Not because Bennett does not want to go to bed, but rather because Bennett is so particular about what he WEARS! I mean, if you give him something to wear that he does not like he flails around on the floor, kicking and screaming, crying like he is severely injured. That amounts to Bennett going to bed looking like this - all over his adorable jammies!!

At least I managed to get a little bit of a smile before he fell asleep!
